Selfstorage refers to the manual storing and retrieving of items, such as furniture, goods, or even documents and personal belongings in individual, privacy-protected, and lockable rental spaces (storage boxes) of various sizes. In simple terms, a storage box can be described as a secure, dry, clean, and bright storage area.

We offer you the opportunity to cover your additional space requirements quickly and easily. After you have thought about the size and rental period of your storage space, you can discuss all the other details with us and move into your storage box directly after the contract has been concluded.

Ihrlagerplatz.de offers storage units in different sizes. We provide storage boxes between 1 m² and 32 m² to meet the needs of as many customers as possible. Our storage boxes have a room height between 2.5 and 3 meters.

For storage, you need about 10% of the living space. We would also be happy to advise you personally to determine the optimal space requirement for you.

Our entire facility is equipped with an electronic locking system. This means that only authorized persons have the possibility of entering our storage halls using your chip transponder. In addition, all of our doors are secured independently of one another.

With the help of our modern access system, it can be tracked who enters our storage halls. Your personal, shielded storage unit is furthermore secured with a cylinder lock, for which only you possess a key.

In addition, our halls as well as the premises are video monitored. 

In addition to the security mechanisms mentioned, smoke and fire detectors are located in all halls.

To be able to offer you optimal storage conditions at consistently stable temperatures, our storage rooms are generally heated.

You can drop by at any time during our office hours and take a look at our storage spaces. To get the best possible impression, a staff member will guide you through our premises and answer all your questions.

Our storage spaces are ideally suited for file storage. Thanks to the stable temperature and humidity as well as our security systems, your files are safely stored. If needed, simply speak to us in person so that we can show you the different options for document archiving.

Due to our notice period, the contract term is at least 15 days. However, we do not bind our customers to a fixed minimum rental period. You can terminate your contract for the storage box at any time in compliance with our notice periods.

We calculate the storage month to the exact day and each additional full month in full. If your storage begins, for example, on October 20, you will be charged only 12 days for that month, not 31.

We will only charge you the rent and the insurance premium for your storage space on a monthly basis. This includes all costs, so you do not have to fear any hidden surprises. For private customers, this is a VAT-exempt service, i.e. you do not pay 19% tax (for commercial customers plus 19% VAT).
Upon conclusion of the contract, a deposit will also automatically become due. This is based on the size of your rented storage space, as well as on your personal chip transponder.

For private customers, our service is exempt from VAT. This means that you do not pay 19% VAT.

For business customers, our prices are subject to an additional 19% VAT.

No. However, you can rent a van at a low cost from our cooperation partner. This can also be done directly through our website. If desired, we can also put you in touch with moving helpers. 

Your stored items are insured with us at all times. The monthly premium and the insured sum depend on the box size. We would be happy to advise you in more detail by phone. 

Provided that you are present in person and we have concluded the rental agreement with you, you can move into your storage unit on the same day.

If you get in touch with us in advance, for example via our website or by phone, we will prepare all the arrangements so that, during your personal visit, we can initiate storage as quickly as possible.

To make storing and retrieving your goods as easy as possible, we have loading ramps in front of all our buildings at Mittleres Moos, which can be accessed by both small and large trucks and can also be conveniently used with roll carts.
In addition, all storage halls at Mittleres Moos are equipped with freight elevators that offer enough space for all kinds of goods.
On each floor, you will find sufficient rolling equipment so that you do not have to carry your items by hand.

With your personal chip transponder, you have access to your storage unit every day between 06:00 and 22:00 (including Sundays and public holidays).

Are you renting for business purposes and need access for longer? Just talk to us. 

You can change your storage unit at any time within our available capacity. Whether you want to rent additional storage space or downsize or upsize your space.

Any goods that in any way have a detrimental effect on their environment or goods whose possession is legally prohibited. Additionally, it is forbidden to store live animals as well as anything that requires special storage conditions.

Perishable food items or other perishable goods are also not permitted for storage purposes. Flammable materials, explosives, fireworks, or other explosive substances of any kind may not be stored. Additionally, drugs, chemicals, radioactive materials, toxic waste, special waste of any kind, or similar items are prohibited. For more information, please refer to our terms and conditions.

You can conveniently pay the rent for your storage space by direct debit or in advance  (debit card or credit card).

Only you have access to your storage unit. We will equip you with your personal chip transponder and barrel lock, and from that point on you will have sole control over your storage space. If additional people are to have access to your storage space, you must give those people a key.

Waste that arises during your move-in and/or move-out cannot be disposed of on our premises. Please use the city’s public waste disposal facilities for this.

At ihrlagerplatz.de, you can rent the m² starting at just €0.41 per day. 

Yes, we offer term-bound discounts of 10-25%.
