Selfstorage refers to the manual storing and retrieving of items, such as furniture, goods, or even documents and personal belongings in individual, privacy-protected, and lockable rental spaces (storage boxes) of various sizes. In simple terms, a storage box can be described as a secure, dry, clean, and bright storage area.
We offer you the opportunity to quickly and easily meet your additional storage needs. Once you have decided on the size and rental period for your storage space, you can discuss all further details with us and move into your storage unit immediately after signing the contract.
Ihrlagerplatz.de offers storage rooms in various sizes. We provide storage boxes ranging from 1 m² to 25 m² in order to meet the needs of as many customers as possible. Our storage boxes have a ceiling height of between 2.5 and 3 meters.
Our entire facility is equipped with an electronic locking system. This means that only authorized persons have the ability to enter our storage halls using their chip transponder. Additionally, all our doors are secured independently.
With the help of our modern access system, it can be tracked who enters our storage halls. Your personal, privacy-protected storage unit is also secured with a cylinder lock, for which only you have a key.
Additionally, our halls and the premises are monitored by video surveillance.
In addition to the mentioned security mechanisms, all halls are equipped with smoke and fire detectors.
In order to offer you with optimal storage conditions at consistent temperatures, our storage rooms are always heated.
You can come by at any time during our office hours and take a look at our storage spaces. To get an optimal impression, an employee will guide you through our premises and answer all your questions.
Our storage facilities are ideal for file storage. Thanks to the stable temperature and humidity conditions as well as our security systems, your files are stored safely. If you require further information, please contact us personally so that we can show you the various options available for document archiving.
Due to our notice period, there is a minimum contract duration of at least 15 days. However, we do not bind our customers to a fixed minimum rental duration. You can terminate your contract for the storage box at any time, observing our notice periods.
We calculate the storage month to the exact day and every subsequent full month in full. If your storage, for example, begins on October 20th, you will only be charged for 12 days in that month and not 31 days.
We will only charge you monthly for the rent and the insurance premium for your storage space. This includes all costs, so you don’t have to fear any hidden surprises. For private customers, this is a VAT-exempt service, meaning you do not pay 19% tax (for business customers, an additional 19% VAT applies).
Upon signing the contract, a deposit will automatically be due. This is determined by the size of your rented storage space, as well as your personal chip transponder.
For private customers, our service is exempt from value-added tax. This means that you do not have to pay 19% value-added tax.
For business customers, our prices are plus 19% value-added tax.
Upon conclusion of the contract, a deposit becomes due automatically. This is based on the size of your rented storage space as well as your personal chip transponder.
We provide you with affordable rental vehicles upon request. If desired, we can connect you with moving helpers. We are also happy to assist you in planning your move; simply contact us in advance.
Your stored items are insured with us at all times. The monthly premium and the insurance sum depend on the box size. We would be happy to provide you with more detailed advice by telephone.
Provided that you are present in person and we have concluded the rental agreement with you, you can take possession of your storage box on the same day.
If you contact us in advance, for example through our website or by phone, we will prepare all the arrangements to initiate a storage process as quickly as possible during your personal visit.
To make loading and unloading as easy as possible for you, we have loading ramps in front of all our buildings at Mittleres Moos, which can be accessed by both small and large trucks, as well as conveniently used with roll carts.
Additionally, all warehouses at Mittleres Moos are equipped with freight elevators that offer ample space for any goods.
On the individual floors, you will find sufficient rolling material so that you do not have to carry your items by hand.
With your personal chip transponder, you have access to your storage room daily between 06:00 AM and 10:00 PM (including Sundays and public holidays).
You can change your storage space at any time within our available capacities. Whether you want to rent additional storage space or wish to downsize or enlarge your area.
Any goods that in any way have a detrimental effect on their environment or goods whose possession is legally prohibited. Additionally, it is forbidden to store live animals as well as anything that requires special storage conditions.
Perishable food items or other perishable goods are also not permitted for storage purposes. Flammable materials, explosives, fireworks, or other explosive substances of any kind may not be stored. Additionally, drugs, chemicals, radioactive materials, toxic waste, special waste of any kind, or similar items are prohibited. For more information, please refer to our terms and conditions.
The rent for your storage space can be conveniently paid via direct debit or in advance (EC card or credit card).
Only you have access to your storage unit. You will be provided with your personal chip transponder and lock cylinder, and from this point on, you will have sole control over your storage space. If additional persons need access to your storage space, you must give them a key.
Waste generated during your move-in and/or move-out cannot be disposed of on our premises. Please use the city's public waste disposal facilities for this purpose.
